Andy Devine tie from "WILD BILL HICKOK". Requested and sent to famed DeeJay Chuck Thompson who gained national attention with his Celebrity Tie Rack. So well known was his collection that he and the ties were featured in TV GUIDE, CASH BOX, NY's SUNDAY MIRROR and other publications in 1956. Eddie Fisher was photograped presenting his tie to Chuck in person. Others included Bing, Bob, Dean and Jerry. Included is the original letter on WILD BILL HICKOK stationary, as shown, and copies of some of the articles. The tie has Devine's maker label and a silk sewn on Thompson Collection one as well. |
