Gray checked Western style shirt with Paramount printed label inked 'A LADD' and nearby 'Sh 09', with Old Tucson stamps and attached printed label. Possible Alan Ladd use is in "SHANE" (Par. 1953)as it appears to be the shirt he is wearing when he meets Ben Johnson in the barn. Later it was assigned to the 'BONANZA' set (also produced at Paramount) where it is seen in the first season worn by Roberts as 'Adam' and later by many guest stars including Robert Vaughn, Guy Williams, Earl Holliman And Bing Russell as the Deputy. Color BONANZA portrait still included of Pernell Roberts wearing the shirt. |
