  Rare free standing bronze Laurel Award presented to Charlie Chase, Hal Roach and MGM for the Best Short Film for 1937 "Neighborhood House". Originally meant to be Chase's first star/director feature length film,it was cut down to a short. That same year, after years of loyal service Chase was fired by Roach and died three years later. One of the pioneers of film comedy. |
