Charlie Chase

Rare free standing bronze Laurel Award presented to Charlie Chase, Hal Roach and MGM for the Best Short Film for 1937 "Neighborhood House". Originally meant to be Chase's first star/director feature length film,it was cut down to a short. That same year, after years of loyal service Chase was fired by Roach and died three years later. One of the pioneers of film comedy.
