  One of a kind 21 inch tall figure of Jayne Mansfield with costume elements from "The Girl Can't Help It" 1956 20th Century Fox. She is complete with underwear and a rose garter belt and has jointed arms and a swivel neck. Made of a composite material, use unknown but possibly made for the world premiere. It has also been suggested that she is a store display to sell the soundtrack album from this film. Her arms are angled that she can "hold" a 12 inch record album in front of her. A similar figure of Josephine Baker made for this purpose at near the same time does have strong resemblemces to this figure in execution and structure including the hands and base. |
