Sammy Davis, Jr. Dance Award |
|
Sammy Davis Jr. bust dance award from the Royal Academy of Dance 1968 with a second plaque acknowledging Geo. Weil as the artist London 1968. Inquiry to the RAD archives was answered with the opinion that Dame Margot Fonteyn herself may have given this to Sammy. It was during the filming of "SALT AND PEPPER" in London in 1968, with Peter Lawford, that Davis spent time at the RAD to share his talents with their students.
