James Stewart's short corduroy coat from "THE MAN FROM LARAMIE" COLUMBIA 1955, made by Western Costume, bearing their label with his name and number and having the left breast pocket stained as burned to the liner from the fire dragging scene. Worn throughout the film, it is on all the poster art and includes an original lobby card and color still.
Stewart claimed this was his favorite of his Western films and second only to "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" as his best overall.
It was later worn by Richard Boone in "THE TALL T", also shot at Columbia the following year.
