Dan Blocker's gold wool coat from "BONANZA" used in many episodes having a Western Costume label with his name and number typed and an Old Tucson one with his printed name and 'Bonanza' written. Purchased from OLD TUCSON Wardrobe in 1981 and includes the original receipt on their letterhead. This was Hoss' main going to church, court, funeral or dance coat which he wore for his entire run on the show. It was introduced in the first season when Little Joe, commenting on his brother's "new suit", helps him on with it as they sneak out the window to see a lady in Virginia City ("THE MAGNIFICENT ADAH" Ep.1.10 Nov. 1959) in the middle of the night to "ROCK-A-BYE HOSS", broadcast in Season 13, Dan's last, just months before his death in 1972. |
