Wallace Beery Promotional Lamp

A small plaster lamp of a seated Wallace Berry atop a box leaning up against a nautical mast. His costume suggests this piece may be related to the film releases MIN AND BILL (MGM 1930) or TUGBOAT ANNIE (MGM 1933). Beery had a phenomenal run of hits, in the early thirties at MGM, which made him one of the highest paid and most successful stars of his day.
