A group of four Biblical tunics and robes, from Carroll and Co., of Beverly Hills, and sold at the 1996 Sotheby's sale. One garment, from BEN HUR, has the Simmons label, marked BH 121 and hand written "Melchior," one of the Wise Men. The red trim at the collar and hem may have been added later. All, still have the Sotheby's tags. The whole grouping $800. |
