A gold plated, bronze medal, awarded to famed portrait photographer Ernest Bachrach, who spent most of his career with RKO, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in 1947, on occasion of their Annual Still Photography Contest. The medal is also inscribed 'Class 10,' which may mean the category that Bachrach entered his winning image in. He is considered among the pantheon of the great Hollywood artists in this field, as examples of his work below shows. |
