A solid bronze figure of Coogan as THE KID dated 1921.
This piece is mostly seen in composition, similar to one of Chaplin, done at the time of the film's release. Also showing, is a boxed, original Coogan child's sweater, a hollow rubber painted figure and a rare solid cast comp figure of Jackie holding a removable coal scuttle, which may be a business card holder. The image of Coogan as a street waif, is a large 16x20 Strauss Peyton photo, with an image size of 11x14 sold at Christie's in 1989. We also have a companion one of Jean Darling, both dating from the early 20s.
