A small stand, decorated with ram's heads on three tapering sloping legs from the Paramount Property Department. There is a metal numbered inventory plate bolted underneath, several warehouse markings and a Paramount Studio bar code sticker affixed. Edith Head used this stand for a series of PR stills done of her around the time of SUNSET BLVD 1950. In film, it can be seen in Olivia DeHavilland's mansion in TO EACH HIS OWN (1946), when she brings her young son home for the first time and in the 1953 Martin and Lewis comedy SCARED STIFF in Lizabeth's Scott's apartment. |
