A five foot tall carved Solomonic column having raised carved grape vines and full grape clusters. This piece, which is also marked as having spent time at 20th Century Fox, appears in DAMSEL IN DISTRESS (just behind George and Gracie in the ball room), GAMBIT (at the artists studio), and THE NIGHT OF THE GENERALS (at the end in the retired General's home). Pictured is Mamie Van Doren at RKO in 1951. |
