Hand made, one-of-a-kind celebrity dolls made by artist Mary Green for Daniel Blum, the Editor of Screen World. These dolls are known for their accurate costumes and attention to detail. When Blum died in 1965 the collection was auctioned off in NYC. Many are pictured in his Screen World Annuals. Our four are Charlie Chaplin, William S. Hart, Joan Crawford and Theda Bara as "Juliet." The Crawford doll comes from her lifelong friend and MGM publicity man Dore Freeman's estate sold at Butterfields.
