Fred Astaire's sailor's suit from "FOLLOW THE FLEET" RKO 1936 with Radio Pictures Corp stamp in each piece and multiple stills and a signed portrait of him in it. Complete with scarf. This was one of the cover pieces from Profiles in History "A Collector's Ransom 5" auction. The picture is inscribed in green ink, to Harry Brinser, then Admiral of the Fleet, who provided assistance to the producers in making the film. He would later have an important role in WWII theater of operations for the Navy. A rare and historic costume as next to nothing from pre-war RKO films has survived.
