Golden Globe statuette awarded to Ann Sothern for the year 1958 for "The Ann Sothern Show" her second successful series for which she also produced as well as starred in. Nominated for many Emmy Awards and one Academy Award this is the only major award won by the talented Ms. Sothern in a career that spanned 7 decades. The award plaque reads that she was being honored for BEST PERFORMANCE by an actress. There were only six TV awards given in 1958 by the HFPA and the other winners included Ed Sullivan, Red Skelton and Loretta Young. Comes with a COA from actress Tisha Stirling, Ms. Sothern's daughter. The award is in near mint condition.
